Given the current challenges regarding Covid-19 in Alberta, we have decided to postpone this show until a later date. Stay in touch as we will reschedule once the situation warrants. Thank you.

Blackwell Studio is a brand new building with unlimited potential. We are located only 20 minutes northwest of Cochrane. Beautiful scenery which includes the foothills, mountains and wildlife. And all paved roads to get here!

The studio was completed in May 2019 which features large studio area, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a loft with sleeping accommodation for guest instructor. Since the building opened, there have been weekly classes, workshops, ‘paint nights’ and art shows and exhibitions.

My vision is to have it busy most of the time. My dream is to have this building available for all of us art-minded people! Possibilities are endless: private retreats, plein air painting, yoga and art, rentals for other instructors’ classes and more.
